• Help that arrives gentlySpelling help is off by default, and your child turns it on when they want it. When they do, it arrives one gentle step at a time: a syllable hint first, then a look at the word's parts, and only then the word itself. Never everything at once, and never a red cross.
• Extra Support ModeOne tap switches on a whole layer of help: a clearer reading font, more support from the first attempt, and more time on timed challenges. No diagnosis needed, no label attached. It's simply "spelling feels tricky sometimes," because sometimes it does, for every child.

Fair by design

Comfortable to read, and fair on time.

• Time that matches real lifeIn support mode, timed challenges give a quarter more time, the same access arrangement children are granted in real exams. Speed is never what Spellify measures, so no child is ever penalised for thinking carefully.
• Calm, clear and adjustableText is large and generously spaced, because reducing visual crowding is one of the best-evidenced ways to help a dyslexic child read more accurately. Colours are calm rather than harsh, and the font, size and feel can be adjusted to suit your child.

No false promises

We are honest about what helps, and what does not.

We offer a dyslexia-style font and colour choices because some children genuinely prefer them, but we do not claim they cure or fix dyslexia, because the evidence does not support that. Our real support comes from spacing, clarity, sound, structured teaching, and giving each child control.

We follow the British Dyslexia Association’s guidance and the WCAG accessibility standard, and we would rather tell you the truth than sell you a myth.

There are no leaderboards, no public scores, and no comparison with anyone else. Progress is private and always encouraging, and a wrong answer costs nothing. For a child who has learned to dread spelling, this is the calm, safe place to start feeling capable again.
